Today marks the start of the second edition of Healthio. Organized by Fira de Barcelona, the event runs from October 16 to 18 at the Montjuïc venue. It showcases the latest healthcare technology through guided tours in three key areas: health and well-being, personalized medicine, and chronic diseases and aging.
Healthio serves as a hub for sharing knowledge, pilot projects, and commercial experiences. Visitors can test and experience the most advanced techniques and practices in healthcare.
A Meeting Point for Healthio Users, Professionals, and Innovators
Alongside the Mental Health Cluster of Catalonia, WHI Institute will host a stand. We will showcase our work as experts in global workplace well-being.
Healthio features key participants like Hospital Clínic and Vall d’Hebron. The Guttmann Institute will present its Barcelona Brain Health Initiative mental health research project. Additionally, Catalan startup MJN Neuroserveis will showcase an ear piece designed to prevent strokes. A student group from the University of Girona will also present a saliva-based diabetes detection device.
Leading healthcare companies like Roche, Sanitas, and Intersystems are also participating. The event features several open forums. Here, hospital and university representatives will deliver talks on the main event themes.
Healthio 2017
In its inaugural edition, Healthio welcomed over 3,400 attendees representing 95 different organizations. The event featured an innovative format. This included 25 experiential itineraries, 311 presentations across five forums, various workshops, and co-creation sessions.
