This morning, while walking my dog Jana, I stopped under an olive tree and stretched my arms. I caught myself on one of its branches. Beyond physical contact, I clearly felt a powerful, intangible message. It helped me discover inner value and realize that the meaning of life and fulfillment lies in living a life of service.
As I stood there, I contemplated the infinite mystery of life. Olive trees have spent centuries teaching us collaboration and the meaning of a nourishing relationship. Both trees and humans are destined to bear fruit. When we do, this fruit naturally nourishes others.
I also realized the intelligence behind teamwork. When we work together without forcing things, transformation happens naturally. Humans and nature, joined together, can create something much greater than we ever could alone.
We all know how to investigate almost anything. But when we live with trust, we connect with a deeper intelligence. This connection drives us to give our best in unity. When I open up, helping others nourishes me in return. However, when the subtle ego slips in to seek its own interest, life loses its meaning.
Virginia Satir said that relationships are the living links in a family. This applies to work as well. By exploring these connections, we understand our system better. This exploration awakens new vitality and the joy of teamwork in everyone.
We do not have to wait for adversity to transform our lives. Many people suffer when they link their self-worth to youth, money, or status. When these fade, they face deep disappointment. Unless we learn a new way to live, we risk falling into destructive habits. You do not have to hit rock bottom to discover your inner value.
Let us toast with cava and grapes, another gift of nature transformed by human skill. This year, my only goal is to live fully. I want to contribute to our shared challenge of living from the heart. To me, this means living courageously to develop our ethical and humanistic values. Will you join us to discover what we mean when we talk about peace, trust, and happiness?
Like the olive tree, we are full of values. We are ready to serve life itself, rather than the ego that distracts us. Beyond any form of success, the meaning of life is a treasure waiting to be found. Dare to take the leap and find your hidden treasure!
???? Cheers to a fully happy 2020! ????
