EXISTENCE is the ultimate OPPORTUNITY. To do what? To know yourself. What you do with it leads you to self-discovery. Existence is a gift, an act of love.
We live filled with goals, projects, and tasks. We let ourselves get carried away by the mental stories we tell ourselves. Somehow, these stories justify our actions. Yet, we fail to realize that the only thing that matters is the place from which we act.
馃幆 And you, do you use this story for self-discovery? Do you enjoy what existence brings you? Moving from the mind to the heart is not easy. Especially because we must eventually return to the mind.
We fear that opening our heart will make us vulnerable or weak. Yet, that is exactly where our strength, commitment, and will reside. It holds our purest human qualities, starting with the vibrant health that accompanies the Life we are.
馃А Once you dare to live from your true self, you return to the mind. But you do so from a different place. You return to a mind that serves. This mind is also a great gift. It is a powerful tool we can put at the #service of the life we are and the #purpose that drives us from within.
馃幆 That is when we begin to enjoy the journey. We learn to connect the dots and find meaning, as Steve Jobs said. This has been my own personal and professional path. Today, I share this with you at the School of Life and Health Skills. I offer everything I wish I had when I left Merck. Back then, I had to adapt to radical life changes and had no idea where to start.
